    I am no one of consequence ...

    I posted a couple of months ago asking about newbies and clipless pedals. Posted a few times more,
    then got distracted by moving into a new house, having parents in town, etc. Disappeared.

    I wouldn't expect you to remember me. I just wanted to see if posting was working for me now under
    our new ISP. Next time, I'll use alt.test, as suggested.

    FWIW, it doesn't bother me a bit when someone who actually reads and posts to AM-B sends a "test"
    message. What's the big deal?

    Simple...just don't call it a 'test' message. Send a little RR or something like that and see if
    it shows up.
