Just remember when you are lying in the gutter after being hit by a SUV
(the driver of which you annoyed by hitting his penis substitute) that
the driver was physcotic. Will it be any less painfull, will the broken
bones or any of the bleeding be easier, knowing that you were right and
    the driver was wrong?

This is of course true, there is a risk.

But if none of us stand up to bullies they will continue their anti-social
behaviour. I think current society's policy of almost total delegation of
behaviour management to the police is a problem.

Totally agree that if you never stood up to bullies they would get even
more out of control but I would question the sensibility of arguing your
rights when armed with a bicycle as opposed to the other person being
    armed with an SUV

This post contains no hidden meanings, no implications and certainly no
hidden agendas so it should be taken at face value. The wrong words
may be used this is due to my limitations with the English language .

An SUV is only dangerous when moving. If they've stopped at the lights,
you could always adopt the current American policy of pre-emptive action.

My eldest told me this once
"The best form of defence is attack, and the best form of attack is
surprise, so the secret is to attack THEM before they attack YOU...or
better still, before they've even THOUGHT of attacking you. You can
render your assailant unconscious before they're aware of your very
    existence!"

It comes from the Welsh art of self defence called LLAP-GOCH

Surely Ian Blair's policy of shooting someone seven times in the
    head, just in case.

I will always explain revoked keys, unless the UK government
prevents me by using the RIP Act 2000.

I was thinking of that as I wrote it, but I couldn't remember the name.

Stolen from one of the Monty Python books.

The USE of INLINE caps PREDATES the WEIRDOS of USENET by a decade though...
