Brazed the last attachment last night, so Hooves 2 is now a rideabl beast. A several of hours need to be spent filing down the brazes, but that is not a problem. My minimal test ride (The length of the workshop with only the flat bars and no brakes / gears!) seems promising.
This however leaves the usual dilemma; what colour?
I have some ideas, but I offer the panel a chance to take part in the design process. The usual caveat about reserving the right to ignore any and all suggestions applies! ;-)
On the other hand, stealth matt black bikes are coolest.

I can't argue with that. Both of my bikes are black. Blasck with silver decals looks good.
Are you going to get some of your own design decals made up Jon? Most print shops will do them as stickers that you can laquer over with transparent laquaer to seal them on.

Thank you - I have two.

I can't argue with that - both my bikes are black, one has silver transfers which look particularly cool.

What colour is there other than red?
British Racing Green would be an excellent second best.

Apparently banging two pistachio nutshells together gives the impression that a very small horse is approaching.

The others are still waiting to be applied. I was already thinking green, so I may well follow up on the BRG ideas. If there were more lugs involved I'd consider gold painting the edges, but I'm not sure that I want to draw too much attention to the uneven stylings in the one "lug" that is on the bike.
