Yup. I've had my muni, trials, and Coker all on my Yakima roof rack. I
had to do some custom widening of the tire channel to get the 24 x 3
Gazz on my muni to fit.

He has some sort of U shaped bar for it to help it stay.

...that's to help the rack stay, right? I heard he had some problems
with the unicycles staying on the rack :p

Did I mention how well KH unicycles hold up when bouncing at 70mph on
the freeway?

My rack is for bikes. It has a bar that clamps to the bike frame and
you also strap the wheels in the tray. On a uni, the bar clamps to the
frame, but the staps aren't long enough to secure a 3" tire to the
tray, so I use bungees. On Saturday I was in a bit of a hurry and
forgot the bungee. Oops. The only apparent damage to the 2003 KH was to
the seat. Pretty impressive. Thank god no one was behind me and the
unicycle bounced into the center divider.

I've used a rear-mount bike rack on a few occasions; it's a faff to
attach everything compared to just chucking unis in the boot, but you
do get some classic looks of people who don't seem quite sure what
they're seeing.

This is with three 24" munis on the back after the Quantocks BMW.

It worked well until we arrived at the Crawley juggling convention this
year. We didn't bother getting out to check that the unicycles would
fit under the car park barrier, because we knew there hadn't been a
problem in previous years. What we hadn't realised was that they had
fitted a new, lower barrier...

Anyway, Thule provided replacement straps FOC.

That would be "English <-> American", English being the language we
speak in the UK :-P

Anyway, chucking = throwing, boot = US trunk. Dunno what an American
translation of faff would be. Do you use the word "palaver", I suppose
that gets close? It's not an easy word to define.

Hang on, let's try a dictionary. My dictionary says: "bustle
ineffectually". That doesn't really get across a true sense of the
meaning of the word, IMHO.

I use a trunk (boot) mounted bike rack on my Honda Del Sol, but it

It's what you get when on a group ride with any more than 1 rider,
mainly when trying to get the group to set off.
