A teammate of mine bought a pair a couple of weeks ago. He compared
them favorably to the mid-level Ksyriums at about half the cost. I'll
probably get a pair to race on for the next season, but I've yet to try
them myself.

They get good reviews, generally...

But I'd look at Supergo's Korso wheels first. They appear to be
identical, and were on sale for $150 last time I looked.

Out of the box they are impressive, dead true and smooth. They pretty much
stayed that way till yesterday. I did 1200 miles on the standard Neuavation
wheels and was very happy until yesterday when I broke a spoke on the rear
wheel. Ok, I'm 220lbs and should be riding a higher spoke count but the
spoke broke up from the bend a couple of mm, that's a little strange. I
guess you get what you pay for. I think if your weight is 180 or less you
should be alright, that covers most riders and is 40lbs less then me..

I've once had a non-butted spoke go a few mm up from the head, no sign of
obvious injury. The break was S-shaped, sort of: straight in a bit, then
nearly but not quite parallel to the spoke for I think about 7 or 8 mm,
then straight out again. This was a cheap galvanised spoke that was some
20 years old at the time.

I blamed it on manufacturing error.

They are reported to be 2.3mm-2.0 aero... so a 13g-14g single butt.

I was pretty sure that spoke was not made up of vertebrae with discs in
between.
