  1. Today, I'm wearing a jersey that I got at my cycling club's end of the year party.

The major sponsor is Cedico, which I think is a Belgian supermarket chain, with a secondary sponsor
Lustucru, which I think is a French food manufacturer.

I did find that in 1997, Cedico - Ville de Charleroi were sponsors of a Division 2 cycling team.

Does anyone know what year my jersey is from, who the riders were, what successes they had?

End of the year in August or End of the Year for last year?

Sounds like a nice, semi-exclusive shirt you scored.

  3. It was a real end of the year party, early December, I think - but probably year before last! I got
the jersey down from the shelf and have now worn it twice. It's funny how just buying a club jersey
(and maybe shorts) each year when you renew keeps you in enough cycling clothing to last a lifetime.

I have a couple of other non-club jerseys I wear during the summer - one is a Pearl Izumi "Team
Johnny" honoring Tomac, in bright yellow, red, and blue (found it for $35 about 6 years ago when I
was training with John Osborne, John Reynolds, John Ross, John Trietsch, and John Wycke); and a
great looking Pinarello with a stylized cyclist and 5 rings on a pattern that looks like a stained
glass design - also bright primary colors, plus some (blush) pink. That one's probably over 10 years
old by now. I have a Texas flag winter jersey that gets me the occasional honk in So Cal, and a
classic Alfa Romeo long sleeve in red that is the only jersey that's ever gotten old - it stretches
when I wear it. This may be the classiest design I've ever seen. I drive BMW's, but I cannot imagine
that symbol looking as neat on a jersey as the AR.

I wonder if the "exclusivness" of this jersey is derived from the ineffectiveness of the
    team's roster?
