I noticed that when I went back to the site AGAIN, that it showed a
different picture than the first time. I wonder how many pictures there
    are.

    Dee Dee,

At the www.vikingrange.com site, if you click on "Products" on the left
sidebar, there you can view the "Viking Professional Series" where I
found the Master Bedroom photo or click the "Viking Designer Series" for
a couple more. OR in the left sidebar, click the "Designer Showcase",
then click "Designer Gallery" for a couple dozen more.

It makes me want to blow up my kitchen, almost. 😉

    All the best,

Thanks for explaining. I went thru all of them -- still salivating.
Wonder what stove & combinations of stove/ovens Martha Stewart uses at her
    residence.

I haven't the faintest idea. She probably has a couple residences with
    some very [censored]' kitchens!

I visited the site to hunt for a new range but I couldn't find what I
want and the designer kitchen photos only made me want to drop the whole
idea. UNLESS I win the powerball.

    Strange concept.
Why would you want a bed in the kitchen?

Sure it's extravagant, but it's MY (and obviously someone else's)
fantasy. Who wouldn't want a kitchen in the bedroom? Midnight snacks
    within arm's reach?

OF COURSE the main kitchen would be down the hall... somewhere.

    😉

That would be the only way I'd get it, but then I think I'd take the money
    and head east.

We toured the Sunset Magazine Idea House in south suburban Denver a few
years ago. The master bedroom occupied what felt like 1/3 of the first
floor. It included a small counter area with a microwave and an
under-counter refrigerator. It also had a fireplace, two huge walk-in
closets larger than many bedrooms, his-and-hers lavs, separated by the
hallway to the shower room. His had a television built into the shaving
mirror. The shower was a room about 8x10 feet with multiple showerheads
on opposing walls and three large windows which overlooked the front
yard! There was also the requisite jacuzzi.

The actual kitchen had two of nearly every major appliance, a salad
sink, a pasta cookpot set into the countertop, an ice machine, a wine
fridge in the butler's pantry, etc. etc. etc. Between the kitchen and
garage were various utility rooms including a dog-washing sink and a
    potting area for gardening.

A deck wrapped around the back of the house and just outside the family
room was an outdoor kitchen--cooktop, ginormous grille, refrigerator,
and a sink. This in a climate where you need to drain the outside
plumbing for 7 months of the year to avoid freezing pipes.

The whole place was amazing but a bit over the top for my taste (and
    pocketbook!)

Was music piped out to the front yard for the benefit of the spectators?

The privacy factor was one thing we commented on, plus, how do you keep
the windows dry and clean? If I recall correctly, there was no window
covering in evidence. I think the house was somewhere around $2.8 mil.
Maybe they expected the eventual buyers to install stained glass in the
    shower windows.

Too funny. They were probably those windows where you flip a switch
and they turn ... uh ... not see through. Help, there is a word for it. I
guess opaque. Something to do with running electricity through some kind
of gas that's in between the panes.

Clear as mud, and scientific, to boot.

A friend was looking at new homes a few years back, the trend was a
wide open bathroom with no door, in the master bedroom. Uh ... if
you don't mind, door??? Thank you.

My master bedroom has a no-door opening into the master bathroom, but a
separate tiny room (with a door) for the toilet. It's not such a big deal.
What I *don't* like is that the master bathroom is carpeted.

So picture this: It's about noon on Saturday. You've just gotten home from a
vigorous workout and you're positively glowing with endorphins. You flip
the switch to make the windows opaque and turn on the shower. You feel
really good in a lazy kind of way. Your SO joins you in the shower and the
two of you begin cleaning and massaging each other. Things get heated up and
before you know it, the two of you are passionately immersed in the act --
and right at that moment of total absorption and total commitment to what
you're doing, the power cuts out and your windows reveal your activities to
your neighbors, who are having a birthday party for their ten-year-old son.

You would appreciate that carpeting more if you were on the hangover

LOL It wasn't in the bedroom but I've been in a kitchen like that. They
had wine fridges and a wood fired pizza oven, too.And the kitchen opened
over the "bar" with stools for sitting while you chatted with the cook onto
a cozy little den with one of the 4 fireplaces in the house. We were there
helping them decide where to place a 6-foot painting. The first floor went
all the way up above the 2nd floor, if you get my meaning. They had plenty
of wall space. I am not a fan of black kitchen appliances (as seen in your
link); luckily these folks did theirs in a tasteful almond with some
stainless and the occasional red accent.

Don't you just hate that? The other thing I hate is closets in the
    bathroom... eeeew. Moldy, stinky clothes.
