  1. Hello children! I have been following this board for many years and
Revenge cooking is a topic I have yet to see.So I thought I'd share
some of my treasures with you!

How about that heifer that you just can't stand. You know the one I am
talking about. You would like to rip off her head and spit down her
neck, but you can't because she is a co-worker. Of course the hussy is
running around town, talking out her behind, smelling up the streets,
putting your business in the wind. You need a luncheon treat for her.
    Lets get started:

CREAM OF CLEVELAND - SAIGON STYLE
(Anything with Cleveland in the name must be terrible...It's the law
    child!)

1/4 Pound dates 2 bay leaves
1/2 pound figs 1/4 pound Brazil nuts
2 cups diced watermelon Crispy deep fried Oriental Noodles
    3 bananas 1 quart Buttermilk

Mix everything together and heat. Pour over the crispy noodles.

Honey, this soup is lower than wale graves!

I always thought fudge or brownies made with a respectable amount of Ex-Lax
    was a perfect choice.

Interesting topic. If I were inclined to do revenge cooking - which I'm
not and can't think of a valid reason why anyone would be - the first
ingredient I would include would be exlax 😉

Depends on whether you're going to be SHARING the "revenge food." If you
are, then the first ingredient ought to be something that your victim is
allergic to but you are not.

....and don't get me started on the "hide the nugget" story.

Why would anyone want to go to the bother of cooking for someone they
    don't like?

Reminds me of my younger days when friends used to spike brownies with a

strange. Must have been a great conversation with the police while they

participate other than a very quiet snicker.

Good ol' pot brownies eh? ;-)

It'd also be very easy to spike punch with everclear.
It's powerful stuff and has almost no flavor...

Well now in our younger days we had a host of such antics. DF's brother
made the best brownies! One night we hit 19 bars just to see if we
could get served since we were all underage - and we used DH's dad's
truck to do it. And you don't even want to hear the store about DH
trying to drive the police car - they were in a bar trying to deal with
a drunk & left their car running! Ever seen those huge exhaust fans in
the bars? If you aim the glasses right the waitress never has to clear
your table. Darn good thing we grew up! Now we just spike the jello
shooters. If you use the sparkler jello and club soda along with bev of
choice usually vodka 'cause you can' smell it you get a real nice
effect. Your tongue and throat get a burning tingly sensation and you
can't spit it up so it has to go down then it hit your tummy and slaps
you in the butt. It makes for some really nice kodak moments 😉

I must have lived a sheltered life. I can't say that I am unhappy about it.
I had never heard of such behaviour before. I sure hope people around me
find other ways to amuse themselves.

You see growing up in a rural community one learns how to entertain
themselves and others. I was never into the drug scene and my mom would
not tolerate alcohol of any kind so it was rather entertaining to see if
we could get served. As I said we grew up and IMO that was as darn gone
good thing. There are no more bar hopping days, no chicken races with
vehicles, no trying to [censored] the only cop in town 'cause our car
could out run his any day, no playing on the back of tomato wagons (long
story), no Chinese fire drills, no tossing root beer at the lions to
make them roar. Heck we live a very boring life now compared to our
younger days🙁 Of course being much better parents than either of ours,
our kids were perfect little angels and continue to be such right to
    this day 😉

I have my own thoughts about revenge cooking that I would like to use on a
family member. I would throw a really nice, small dinner party for about 8
of the most gossipy family members and friends. The good china and crystal,
the whole 9 yards. The food and drink would be absolutely perfect...
except for one plate. The plate of the mark would contain the food which is
over spiced, over cooked, generally terrible and almost inedible. Fish
would be the ideal candidate for the main course. You can really screw fish
up. While the mark is piddling with his/her food, the rest of the guests
will be raving about how fabulous dinner is. I can just see the mark
calling the other guests that evening or the next day roaring about how
awful the food was. The other guests will think him/her nuts. The mark
will make an absolute ass of his/herself, damaging what little credibility
    they have left. Sweet revenge...

Can't be... nothing's illegal in California, exept fruits and nuts...
and that's only because they already have more than everywhere else all

True... but it can work both ways.

I'd probably not do this for a number of reasons anyway.
For one, they used to be expensive and hard to get, (It's been a number
of years and I'd not know where to get them now anyway <lol>😉 and it's
considered to be bad form to alter someones conciousness without their
