  1. Just curious about this have followed advice that once a week is safe and twice a week for power but not year round where do you stand?

  2. I voted three because that's what I do in most solid training weeks. Although sometimes I do two and a race/hard group ride. And any week of a race that matters obviously none. Through my training lately I really feel that extremely hard interval training coupled with lots of recovery really, reallly, makes you faster.

  3. Often 1, sometimes 2 per week, plus a TT ride, plus a fast group ride (unofficial race😄 )

  4. Normal intervals twice a week but I need to increase the number of intervals (I can never seem to wake early enough to do more before I go to work 🙄 )

Then on the weekend a hard MTB ride, lots of steep hills in granny gears.

  5. Up to this point, never. Just 2 weeks ago I started doing intervals of duration 2-3 minutes, 4 efforts with a 4 minute break inbetween at like 150 w. Seems like my sustained 40 k power has picked up although it's hard to ride fast now with more clothing and much colder temperatures. My lungs start hurting if I go fast so I'm throttling it back outside.
