  1. I have a bike with 105 triple crankset with 105 bottom bracket (Shimano 5500). If I upgrade to an Ultegra triple crankset, do I need to to replace the BB or will everything fit?

    Second question, do the new ten speed Ultegra triple cranksets use the same bottom bracket: ie are 9 speed (my bike) and 10 speed cranksets the same thing?

    6500 (triple 6503) series will fit. See:

    Not even close. The 6600 series are integrated/outboard bearing design (Hollowtech II) See:
