  1. Clipped from a media industry column:

"How about `The SPN'? OLN stands for Outdoor Life Network.
But the Comcast-owned cable channel that's now home to the
National Hockey League and still wants to land a National
Football League deal in its bid to compete with ESPN is
said to be looking to change its name by next summer.

Another potential rival to ESPN could come from a joint
venture from Fox and Major League Baseball, according to
MediaWeek, which reports the proposed cable sports
partnership is contingent on Fox getting the NFL
Thursday-Saturday prime-time package OLN also wants."

I wonder how this will affect their Summer sports coverage?

They probably got rid of it because it was too much of the outdoors.
With bull riding, they get to be indoors like the big guys with the NBA,
    NHL and WWE.

It's on ESPN of course.. Ok it maybe on "The Duece"

  5. Who cares? Besides, they have to change their name from OLN; with you
know who retired now you can't call it the Only Lance Network anymore.
