his can in July. That made the difference in October.

Zabel never was the "fastest" guy out there, even when he won 6 green
jerseys. He's just way more consistent than the other guys. He's in
every sprint and he's strong enough to be in some sprints where the
other sprinters have been eliminated.

Hushovd won this year in the same manner, by being more consistent and
he isn't nearly as consistent as Zabel has been.

turning it into a bathhouse.

In the NFL, when a team loses the game, you don't see the losing team's
running back celebrating in the lockeroom just because he gained the
most yards.

I'm glad Zabel was left off the Tour team. He thinks winning sprints in
the last 100 meters of flat stages in a Grand Tour is some huge
accomplishment. In fact, he's celebrating losing the Tour by 2 hours.
