So you did the essay app thing?

I was just wondering. I joined as a general member last year. It was
interesting, but there isn't that much material there, nor did the
server show many other readers on-line during my last visit.

It *used* to be a good place to hang out and play. But they began to
take themselves too, too seriously. It stopped being fun and interesting.

There are a lot of different forums, so if you find one or more on
topics of interest to you it's worthwhile to bookmark and visit them.
Like all forums the quality and usefulness depends on the participants.
I visit several of them just to read/lurk. Don't know what "obtaining
a membership" would entail. -aem
