  1. Allopathic medicine is based on monomorphism or the germ theory. Disease is
an invasion by an outside force, inury, metabolic defect or organism. The
battle cry is "kill the germ, burn the germ, cut the germ out."
The germ theory has served as the basis for traditional Western medicine for
over a century and was created by man.

The alternative healing approach is based on plemorphic theory. Create an
    environment of balance
in the body that will not support any invading microorganism. The concept of
harmony and balance is a God-given protection that exists naturally at the
    time of our birth.

If we consider the success of the germ theory in the "fight" against cancer,
we get a representative picture of the effectiveness of the narrow view.
Cancer is not a localized disturbance. You do not contract cancer of the
elbow, or toe. When you have cancer diagnosed it is of the whole body.
    People constantly have the
part removed where the cancer manifested and have it return elsewhere at a
later time. If you remove the elbow without changing the environment, the
    cancer will eventually manifest elsewhere.

We all know (assume) the American Cancer Society exists to cure cancer. It
spends 1 million dollars a day on its mandate. We have become accustomed to
headlines announcing a "cancer breakthrough". These
headlines have been occurring since 1924 and yet the incidence of cancer has
steadily increased. In 1924 cancer was the 8th leading cause of death, has
now become the second lead cause of death and is predicted to become the
number one leading cause of death in North America.

It appears the germ theory has failed as an approach to improve our health.

Yeah, that's the one-way media for you.

Allopathic medicine is based on monomorphism or the germ theory.

    1. All medicine other than true homeopathy is allopathic -- herbalism,
    naturopathy, TCM.

Even chiropactic. Yet it appears to be chiropractors who resurrected this
arachaic term in modern times to make it look as though modern scientific
medicine was merely one of many broadly equivalent theories of illness. If
you can make proper medicine look smaller, nonsense may not look so bad. (I
refer to the chiropractic theory that the spine is the key to all illness)

But modern medicine is a transparently eclectic and empirical discipline,
not driven by philosophical leanings, or any single theory. Thus if
highly improbable rays that cannot be seen or felt, and that will pass
through solid matter can be shown to help make diagnoses and treat some
illnesses, medicine will use them (xrays). It picked the eyes out of
herbalism, and even found a lot of previously unknown herbal products that
are useful in cancer treatment. It has tried out snake venom in treating
clotting disorders. It has provided everything that that we really know
for sure about nutrition, including about vitamins, minerals, and caloric
requirements. It alone has tried to grapple with the mysteries of the
human psyche and its relationship to various illnesses, and been able to
correct mistakes in its own attribution of illness to psychological causes.
It alone tests everything out critically as it goes, thus avoiding the
thrall of the innumerable false hypotheses that prevail within homeopathy
and allopathic forms of alternative medicine..

This list could go on forever. I could also list what I see as its faults
as it is applied in practice. These do overlap the complaints of AM
suporters, but that discussion lies elsewhere.

    2. If this statement is true, why can one look at any medical textbook and
find that infective illnesses take up less than a fifth? What happened to
the usual list of known causes of illness that extends into hundreds?

Having created this monumental straw man this piece goes on to prove is that
many alt writers don't know zip about real medicine and never care to do any
real research before they open their mouths.

(# allopathy (allo=-other)was a term Hannemann, the founder of homeopathy,
coined to refer to medical treatments that contrast in some way from the
"like cures like" princicple of homeopathy. According to that principle an
effective medical treatment had to be able to produce symptoms similar to
the disease or illness it is intended to treat.

Yes, I know it is silly, but two hundred years ago everyone was casting
around for some overall guiding principle that would govern medical
treatment. Superstition and religious ideations dominated. No one knew
how complex human pathology would turn out to be. )

You are now getting to the truth of it.

Modern medicine known as Western Medicine, the Medicine of the Americans, or
Allopathic medicine is one grand DECEPTION. It is all smoke and mirrors.

Orthopathy, Greek for "truth in disease" was started in 1822 in the US and is a
true American Theory of Disease. You see, it is not disease ( that is the
deception ) it is dis-ease, the body is not at ease, the body is not in
    homeostasis.

This was later confirmed by A. Bechamp with his microzyma theory which proved
Pasteur was a con artist ( circa 1870). However, due to Pasteur's prominence,
Pasteur was able to hide the truth and keep the microzyma theory covered up.

Rosenow proved that bacteria are pleomorphic in 1914 in a peer reviewed
journal. Yet his data is ignored just as Bechamp's data was ignored by those
profitting from the false concept of the germ.

Yep, the germ theory of disease is a con, a deception, but one heck of a money
    making gimmick.

  5. This is very interesting, but how is it proposed that dis-ease is

    Difficult problem.

You first must accept the possiblilty that the germ theory of disease is false.

The history of medicine is fascinating (when you look at what people really
    said. )

You can read Bechamp's work at the site below. So far as I can gather, he
did not dispute the existence of germs and other microorganism such as
yeast, and actually often uses the term "germ". He was aware of the
microsopic studies of Virchow and Leuwenhock demonstrating them, and
understood that the experiments of Pasteur and others on fermentation proved
the existence of airborne germs that could be destroyed by heat of creosote.
The preface is wrong when it says Pasteur continued to believe in
spontaneous generation and Bechamp argued against it - Pasteuris the one
mainly given credit for disproving that theory.

He also understood that syphillis, typhoid and cholera could be transmitted
from patient to patient, but argued correctly that these could not be
    transmitted by airborne germs.

He merely tried to argue that fermentation and other activities of
microrganisms were due to microorganisms secreting particulate bodies he
called zymas. He thought he could see these under the microscope. His
observations are completely explained by the enzymic activity of
microorganisms and the prevalence of artefact in the crude early days of
    microscsopy.

Pleomorphism was an idea proposed by by Rife and Livingstone-Wheeler, but
there is no evidence at all that bacteria can change into other bacteria,
    and a lot against.

    Bad genetics.

  12. You are stating that the "germ theory" is false and yet present no other

people need alternative theories to accept something else.

In general, cancer is a disease of old age, the increase in childhood
    cancers notwithstanding.

David, did you work hard to become so ignorant?

    Dave Wickware said:

Allopathic medicine is based on monomorphism or the germ theory. Disease is
an invasion by an outside force, inury, metabolic defect or organism. The
battle cry is "kill the germ, burn the germ, cut the germ out."

No, *infectious* disease is based on the germ theory. Noninfectious
diseases, like muscular dystrophy, are not.

    Quoted message said:

The germ theory has served as the basis for traditional Western medicine for
over a century and was created by man.

    And has served brilliantly.

    Quoted message said:

The alternative healing approach is based on plemorphic
theory. Create an environment of balance in the body that will not
support any invading microorganism. The concept of harmony and
balance is a God-given protection that exists naturally at the
    time of our birth.

But apparently not before or after that instant. Even embryos can get
cancer. And they can suffer birth defects if the mother gets, say,
    rubella at the wrong time.

    Quoted message said:

If we consider the success of the germ theory in the "fight" against
cancer, we get a representative picture of the effectiveness of the
    narrow view.

Ah, I see. Spammin' Dave Wickware is once again spouting nonsense.
Nobody claims that most cancers are caused by germs. (Some are, like
cervical cancer, but most are not.)

    Quoted message said:

Cancer is not a localized disturbance. You do not contract cancer of the
elbow, or toe. When you have cancer diagnosed it is of the whole body.

Sure it is. That's why you can have a basal cell carcinoma sliced off
and be fine for the rest of your life -- because your whole body is
    compromised.

The trouble with morons like Spammin' Dave is that they (a) don't
realize how ignorant they are, and (b) don't realize that most other
    people are not that ignorant.

    Quoted message said:

People constantly have the part removed where the cancer manifested
and have it return elsewhere at a later time. If you remove the elbow
without changing the environment, the cancer will eventually manifest
    elsewhere.

That depends on whether the cancer has spread already at the time it
is removed. If I kill a single fly in my house, no problem; if the
fly has already laid eggs, I still have a problem.

    Quoted message said:

We all know (assume) the American Cancer Society exists to cure
cancer. It spends 1 million dollars a day on its mandate. We have
become accustomed to headlines announcing a "cancer breakthrough".
These headlines have been occurring since 1924 and yet the incidence
    of cancer has steadily increased.

Only some of them. And you have to adjust for the age of the
population to know whether things are getting worse or not.

    Quoted message said:

In 1924 cancer was the 8th leading cause of death, has now become
the second lead cause of death and is predicted to become the
number one leading cause of death in North America.

Which has nothing to do with "germs," Spammin' Dave, you incredible
    moron.

And cancer has become so significant only because other causes have
been driven down so far. Why don't you tell us what the ten leading
causes of death were in 1924?

Yeah, that's the one-way media for you.

That might have something to do with people living longer, maybe certain
cancers are more likely to appear later in life.

In general, cancer is a disease of old age, the increase in childhood
    cancers notwithstanding.

David, did you work hard to become so ignorant?

If you think I'm wrong, tools, let's see your evidence. Many cancers
are slow-growing or late developing. Lung cancer, for example, is
almost never seen in young people.

    2) Crumple them up until they have sharp corners everywhere
    3) Shove them up your ass.

You are contributing nothing here. Either contribute or shut up.

You are stating that the "germ theory" is false and yet present no other
    alternative.

I have been teaching an alternative for over 10 years now. The best alternative
is orthopathic medicine, started in the US in 1822.

Do a google search on these two topics:
    The physiological laws of life.
    Seven stages of dis-ease.

The stages are enervation, toxemia, irritation, inflammation, induration,
ulceration, and lastly fungation. Fungation is cancer formation.

Let me know if you can't find the articles.
