Initial looks much the same, some slight improvements to route line thickness and printing, although as usual you need the new 2005 maps. Old serial numbers still work. (Old maps can be updated by the old hack with a hex editor - change the year to 2005).

Yep, can't see anything worthwhile. It now has the "goto" function, which MM has been crying out for, but it's very fussy - requires you to enter full 10-digit codes! It's not smart enough to add "00" if you only want to use 6 digit codes!

I ordered it 2 weeks ago. still not received it - which is a bit disappointing.
They promised me I will get it by Wednesday. We'll see :-)
It does look really good though and I cant wait to start plotting a couple of days up in the lakes in October.
Anyone used it?
I've had a quick play. Not got round to hacking my 2004 OS maps to work on it yet but have some others that work (some scanned french ones + <cough> couple 100 merged screen grabs from OS getamap...)
Seems to function as expected, 3d view is very slow now though with the new horizon feature.
There was also an interesing post on the support forums that implied they were flogging off the 2004 maps "heavily discounted". I'ce responded to it and await their answer as no sight of them on the online shop. -- Mike Some pictures & bad html here http://www.prog99.com
