SOMA Double Cross Headset

That is an open question. Any 1-1/8" threadless headset will work;
which one is 'best' depends on how much you want to spend, how much
maintenance you are willing to do, etc. If money is no object, the
Chris King is great and requires almost no attention after
installation. My wife's Double Cross had a Cane Creek C2 (unsealed
cartridge bearing), but water (she rides in the rain quite a bit)
tended to get in the lower bearings so we just swapped out for a Cane
Creek S6 with a seal on the bearing cartridge. A sealed cartridge
bearing can suffer water intrusion, but it will not happen quite as
readily so maintenance should be less going forward.

C2 is a great headset if you don't ride in water much. If you do, get
the S6. You can usually find the C2 on sale for under $30 and the S6
for under $60

Ritchey Scuzzy is nice-cart bearings ala shimano...1 1/8 inch needed.
