When away from the gym for a week on my "tricep day" for unvavoidable
reasons, I cannot do my usual cable pushdowns. But they're one of my
favorite sets.
What is the best substitute exercise that I can do with a lightweight
bench (it inclines), dumbbells, or other equipment I have at home or
in my car? Just as I can do dips with two chairs, there must be some
substitute that doesn't require the cable machine. Rubber bands maybe,
but how do you attach them safely when using the heavy ones? (I don't
use bands but would if necessary and if I could attach them easily. I
know a guy who lost an eye when a bungee he was attaching to something
suddenly broke in his garage.)
Thanks for any help with this one.
