  1. hey,

is there a website somewhere that lists what exercises work which muscles
and body parts in plain english as opposed to pectoralis major and the like?

i find it a huge pain in the gluteus maximus (sp?) to be bouncing around
looking for exercises that hit calves, triceps and so on.

    thank you,

    mike

You find it difficult to understand words like pectoralis major?

Let me guess? United States public school system "graduate"?

If www.exrx.net is too complex for you, take up golf.

What type of terminology are you looking for, ebonics??

For your information, those are the proper english terms.

The only alternatives are slang terms based on the proper terminology or
perhaps some kind of sexual reference. It takes all of an hour or two to
familiarize yourself with the basics. This serves you for a lifetime. You
apparently want to spend lots of time trying to remain ignorant. So you can
spend a lifetime being stupid and vague.

Here is a term that all the ignorant folks love. Tone. Just make something
up. Most ignorant folks don't want you to use dirty words like fat or
muscle. It also adds to the persona if you act like everyone knows what you
    mean.

Afterall, it is all about appearances, isn't it. You wouldn't want anybody
to think that you actually know anything now, would you?

    then muscle group.

    So this not one.
    http://www.exrx.net/Lists/Directory.html

    Try these
    http://www.fitrex.com/fitness_info/index.html
    http://www.weighttrainersunited.com/directory.html
    http://www.uwlax.edu/strengthcenter/videos/video_index.htm
    http://www.rustyiron.f2s.com/

If you can't find it there, then it's a rare exercise or
    something.

  13. mike said:

anyway, i have wasted enough time on you.

Nah, come on - waste some more. You've clearly got nothing but.

pectoralis is derived from the latin word "pectus," which translates to

You guys just like saying anything with "pecker" in it.

I'm going to die rather sooner than I'd like. I tried to protect my
neighbours from crime, and became the victim of it. Complications in
hospital following this resulted in a serious illness. I now need a bone
