Oh Good Lord.
I only read of this in another source.
I count Thomas as one of my friends.
He rode a lovely German city bike,
which I often admired. Farrhad-Manufaktur.

involving a cyclist on the Cromwell Road while noticing that traffic in the
area was all jammed up because they'd closed it off. I'd presumed that was
for accident investigation purposes and that almost certainly meant the
cyclist had been killed. Sad to have it confirmed. Even worse when the
driver just drives off - what a [censored]. I hope they trace him/her and make
them face up to what they've done.Condolences to family and friends.

Hmmm Cromwell Road, that's a main thoroughfare ain't it? Well equipped
with jam cams and the like? The vehicle was almost certainly recorded
on a camera somewhere. It's just a shame you don't get life for a hit
and run.
