Bikesoiler & I were in transit (in smogbox) up High St, when we saw a cyclist being loaded into the back of a ambo on the corner of Benjamin Street, approx 11.45am today. Did a u-ie and returned back to the corner. We thought appropriate to ask if the guy wanted his bike cared for (a very lovely TCR 0) & offered to exchange details etc. Not sure of the actual circumstances of the incident, but looked like there been a collision btw car & bike.
He said he was a local & his wife was on her way down to collect the bike. Whoever this cyclist is, and if you know him, we sincerely hope you're back on the road riding soon. Hitting the deck 'tis never a pleasant experience. 🙁
