  1. Well, it's been a while since I've gone out at 10.30pm with my lights for a
    brisk hour sprint ...

Fantastic fun! I'm looking forward to the Autumn/Winter!!

Really! The great thing is that I don't come upon anyone else. They're all
tucked up at home, perfect time for a sprint along the towpaths with my
    Lumicycles!

LOL, we also did a night ride on Saturday night. Hatfeld moors by moonlight
are an eerie place to be, but very, very refreshing. 😉

I can assure you it hasn't been dark for over a month or the rest of us
would have noticed. Perhaps you had your eyes closed ;-)

Current sunrise time in London is 6.42, civil twilight at 6.08

One month ago it was 5.52 and 5.15 so it will have been dark at 4.30
*in the morning* for some time, since mid July acording to my box of
    tricks.

    I don't think that's what Tony meant. :-)

But then what he meant wasn't what Mike meant :-)
