I'm somewhat new to cycling, riding a Hybrid for the past few months and I just got a good deal on a Giant OCR3, cheap enough that I could give a drop-bar road bike a try. I feel the bars are still too low, though it has a shorted 80mm 3T THE stem on it which has a mild up-angle. I noticed the following threadless stem riser which looks like it would just bolt on:

Has anyone used these and any comments? Are they stiff enough? I know it would add about 200g. and I'm not real concerned about that.
thanks to all Rick
I put one of the Delta stem risers on a friend's bike and he likes it. Lets him keep riding without his hands going numb so quickly. "Are they stiff enough?" What is everyone's fascination with stiffness?
Highly recommended. No apparent slop/play (you must use the supplied shims). Ensure you have the correct stem diameter (1" or 1-1/8"😉

I have one on a Montague Urban, along with an adjustable stem from Nashbar. It's kludgy, but it works fine. A pain to install because there is no star-fangled nut inside the headset tube to help set the tension, but newer bikes will have the star-fangled nut.
Remember, the Delta extenders are for 1 1/8" only.
I bought mine at REI in black, which is all that they had. I see Performance has them in silver as well, which I would have preferred.
