  1. My Scarpa boots are supremely comfortable but a little down at heel now. Are
there any decent boot repairers in the Birmingam or Worcester that anyone
    can recommend please?

  2. Not Birmingham but Chesterfield / Sheffield ...
    http://www.feetfirst.resoles.co.uk/
They do a good job and can resoled return boots posted from Scotland on a
Monday by Friday same week - ready for the hills!

    Cheshire Shoe Repairs http://www.cheshireshoe.co.uk/

Only used them for climbing shoes but for that they're probably the
    best there is.

Try Lancashire Sports Repairs - http://www.lsr.gb.com/ - who, I'm told, have
a very good reoutation for good service.

I've used LSR several times and have been very happy with them.

Used them once and quick efficient service. Posted my Miendl boots from
Hampshire for a resole and service, returned about 7 days later fully
    refurbished.
