My suggestion: if you're a newbie, use a regular road bike with aerobars.
On the other hand, for those of us in the sport a long time, we like newbies that buy lots of
expensive sport-specific equiptment and then decide that tri isn't for them -- it creates a
wonderful and cheap after-market.
So - keep up the good work! buy, Buy, BUY!
