I live in Scotland and I'm going to visit Perth in about 3 weeks. I want to buy a bike when I'm there, and it will be mainly for touring/fitness.
It would be good if I could browse the wares of Perth-based bike shops using the Web. However, I've found it pretty tough going finding suitable sites this evening!
So far I've looked at Cyclerama, which was good. I also looked at Bike Force and "Fleet Cycles", which is not up and running.
Get on the phone and have a chat to one of the shops. There's not too much of a language barrier so you'll understand each other (unless you're from Fife). 🙂
You'll get a lot better service out of a person than a web site, particularly as I've yet to come across a Perth bike shop web site that is any good as they have, quite rightly I think, decided that they can best serve people in person.
I've dealt with Vicki (or Vicky?) at Bike Force in South Perth a few times in person, and she's very helpful.

depends on where you will be staying while in Perth, it is one the most sprawling cities and with an extremely low population density
i would recommend either bikeforce, south perth or glen parkers, nedlands. Bikeforce doesnt have the range of parkers though. Mainly trek distrobuted stuff.
