Dans son édition du 11 septembre 2005, Le Journal du Dimanche dévoile le nom
de trois autres coureurs dont les prélèvements d'urine lors du Tour de
France 1999 - et congelés depuis au Laboratoire national de
Châtenay-Malabry - contiendraient de l'EPO. Il s'agit des autres
échantillons détectés en marge de l'affaire Lance Armstrong.Selon le JDD, les trois coureurs impliqués sont : l'Espagnol Manuel Beltran
(Banesto en 1999, Discovery Channel aujourd'hui), le Colombien José Joachim
Castelblanco (ex-Kelme, actuellement suspendu pour deux ans dans une autre
affaire de dopage) et le Danois Bo Hamburger. Les trois hommes ont été
contrôlés, après tirage au sort, au Puy-du-Fou le 3 juillet 1999, en même
temps qu'Armstrong.Ce jour-là, des traces de corticoïdes avaient été relevées pour Hamburger.
Mais le coureur ayant pu fournir un certificat médical, il n'avait pas été
inquiété. Comme pour Armstrong, aucune contre-expertise n'est possible. Les
trois hommes ne sont donc pas sous le coup d'une éventuelle sanction
sportive disciplinaire. -
