  1. I'm going to be FREE this weekend to cook. Wooo... Hooo... Starting at
exactly 1pm after class today, I'm a free agent. Steven will be gone
almost all weekend. All I have are the dogs and cat. I'm gonna' cook.
Now, what to cook is the question. I've got a freezer full of meat and
fish. OTOH, I'm seriously thinking about buying a pork butt or a big
brisket to smoke. I'll also hit Soulard Market for fruits and veggies and
'stuff'. I have not seen what TJ's has this week. Any suggestions?

I was at TJ's last night and I didn't notice anything special except that had
some nice looking Mexican asparagus. They were nice thin stalks. I do think hey
have the best half sour pickles and kraut If you haven't tasted the Dubliner
    cheddar - do so.

I didn't get to TJ's today but managed to find 6 excellent pork loin chops.
I'm about to rub 'em with some cumin, paprika, garlic, chili powder, salt
and some brown sugar. I'll let 'em sit in the fridge for maybe an hour or
so. I think I'm going to make some dirty rice to go with and I might steam
some broccoli I found at Soulard Market. Who knows what tomorrow will
    bring.

I've gained some weight but my H1AC was 4.9 a couple of weeks ago. I really
don't diet much but I do watch what I eat... except for ice cream ;( Oh...
I made some chocolate chip bar cookies night before last. The S.O. snagged
the whole pan and took it to work with him knowing full well I'd eat it all
in one sitting... The [censored] 😉
