I've got on leg that's shorter than the other (yes, I've had the requisite x-rays to prove it).
Since the disparity has been causing knee and hip pain (the reason I had the x-ray to begin with), I'd like to shim the cleat on the shorter leg.
So, what's the best way to shim a Time ATAC cleat so that it still works properly?
It seems to me that if I just insert washers between the cleat and the shoe, I'm going to cause changes to the float and release characteristics of the cleat/pedal.
I had no problem with my road cleats, since they're Speedplay Zeros (Speedplay sells shims to go with their cleats).
