  1. New wheel and SRAM cassette (Shimano 9-speed compatible) arriving from different vendors. Do I need to tool the cassette on, or just tighten by hand and ride it tight?

    Bubba might get her done with a hammer and screwdriver... 🙄 ...Smart money would be on a lockring tool.

    It won't ride tight. These aren't like the old style ones.
