  1. Just curious on what the history of the bike company Jamis. Very
little info. Looks like the parent company is G Jounou Bike Company,
but the Web site lists Ron Jamis as the founder. Who is Ron Jamis? Is
this just a distributer for Chinese branded bikes - I know they are
based in New Jersey. I'm doing a research project on the Bike Mfg
business. Thanks all for any info.

Public library, Jef! Should have a boatload of resources.

First thing would be to check the company website, which you've probably
done. Then at the library see if you can't get access to something like
Lexis Nexis or any online database that indexes news stories. Maybe the
company was featured in an article in Velo News? Something might turn
up from when the company was founded.

The advantages to doing a search like this on your own are that:

    1) You learn how to do it for the future
    2) You know you can trust the information (at least more than something
posted from someone online, who may not know what they're talking
about). If this is a search for a school project, it's important to
    have credible sources.

    Libraries? Those things still exist?

I could be wrong, but I think google has access to millions of more
pages of into then the library.
