Problem:
The cable hosing stopper mounted on the frame (2003 Trek Elite 9.8 XL)
points the cable straight down, while the ft. der. (TPBS Shimano LX)
pull lever is not exactly bellow it. This causes a cable offset and it
rubs against the inside of the stopper.
Ideas/thought welcome.

Ideas/thought welcome.That shouldn't really affect shifting. I suppose it would be possible
to VERY carefully trim the shift cable housing so that the inner
sheath extended past the housing, and to drill out the ferrule so the
inner would pass through. It might also be necessary to drill out the
frame's cable stop as well.Or, you could just ignore it.
