  1. Hi,
    I'm interested in the Kaffenback frame from Planet-X. The Tubing is chromoly
    4130 weighs about 4lbs and is available for £160. They don't say if it's
    double butted. How does this frame compare to (for example) Reynolds 531 or
    631 and why is it so much cheaper than other 'cross frames? E.G. a Kona Jake
    the Snake which you can buy for around £400

    It is. Basically it is a on-one pompino with vertical dropouts. Unless
    they have changed the design, the chainstays are to short for a
    crossbike
