I'd really like to see them test all of the blood at this point. Do we know how many samples were actually tested and how many positives and negatives?

Wow suprising........I bet UCI will save there and the cyclists asses to say the protocol wasn't followed....

It will only look stupid in the publics eye if Verbruggen will say that.........but I really think he doesn't want this all to come out....

I wonder what L'equipe will do........cause the UCI can't deny it when they have published 40 names or so..........

if this happens the sport is dead, and the drugs problem will never be solved

So are they going to let all the results out or not?

Well I read somewhere that L'equipe will publish all the names, but they are still linking the samples with a rider.......

When will the french anti doping agency give the official results?

Wolfram Lindner, Director Sportif for the former Team Coast, expects more names to be released in the "L'Equipe Tour de France" doping affair. "When names are put to the 40 positive doping results from 1999, which the UCI has before it, there will be a big explosion," Lindner said in Madrid. "Then there will probably only be four or five Pro Tour teams, that will be untouched by doping. Making this information public is only a matter of time,"

They have 1998 samples as well. Wouldn't it be interesting if Marco Pantani, who has had his name dragged through the mud with so many unsubstantiated accusations and insinuations over the years, was found to be the one of the clean ones. I am afraid gentlemen then we will have to realize that what was left of beauty in the sport of cycling died with him. And actually started to die in 1999.

The French newspaper Francesoir already published the name of Virenque, it was about 10 days after L'Equipe came with the story about Lance. They suggested that L'Equipe didn`t want to write about Virenque, one of the icons of French cycling. L'Equipe belongs to ASO, which also owns the Tour de France.....
