    Not yet ... I'm at about the half way point in my training. It's hard
    to say if I'll make it--years of cycling has left me with an acute
    muscle imbalance, plus my base is less than ideal--but if it's possible
    I'll get there with the help of this group and Higdon's novice program.
    I'll be sure to post when I get there (if I do).

    I have a friend that is in training for a half marathon too. Her's in on
    9/18. She wasn't a runner before but is going to make it! She's doing it
    to raise money...so that's her main motivation (cancer organization). I bet
    you'll do it! Hang in there! I'll be rooting for you, JJ
