I recently purchased a Kestrel 200SCI carbon fiber frame that has been repainted, but I would like to paint it another color. What is the best (safest for the carbon frame) way to strip the old paint without damageing the carbon. Any tips or links to a helpful site would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for any help, Butch
i would NEVER buy a carbon frame that had been repainted unless i knew for FACT that it had not been "repaired". if that new paint job is covering a bunch of bondo, you have a problem on your hands!
I don't think I would strip the old paint off.Never now what effect this could have on the carbonfiber.I would just paint over the color I don't like.If this paint job is holding up well then some good prep and the next paint should be Ok. Just my 2 cents.
