Boonen?

He always has a bunch of explanations why the circumstances were bad and why
Petacchi isn't impressive, and this time he mentioned being boxed in by
Burghardt (and having lost Trenti).

Yeah he seems to do that, doesn't he!

In his defense, the other day he was amused himself about how he could
list a whole bunch of reasons why he didn't win 🙂

He was just too far back and had to start early. He had done his sprint by
the time he caught up with Petacchi et al.

I haven't seen the sprints, but from what I've read it's mainly the
fassa-train that's making the difference, is that true?

True for Monday's stage, but yesterday, the train got broken and Petacchi
had to work for it.

He doesn't come up with excuses as well as Mcewen...nobody does.
