Hey guys!
I have finally decided to get a 'real' road bike, after having only been riding indoor trainers for a few years. I would really appreciate some advice on the fitting and the bike itself.
I have been looking at new bikes for quite a while now, and I have fallen in love with this baby: canyon.comindex.htmlOpen ↗, but unfortunately there are more to it than looks. I can't really find a whole lot about the brand on the internet, but maybe some of you have heard something about it? Also, what do you think about the pricing, all things considered? Is it an o.k bike to 'start out' with?
Since the bike is only sold over the internet from the Canyon homepage, I would like to be sure I'm getting the right size. I'm 184cm (6.036 ft) and my inseam length without shoes is 89cm (35.04 in), and I'm around 79kg (174 pounds) I use around 10½ in shoes.
According to a size calculation method (inseem * 0.67) I found this would mean I should get a bike that's between 59 and 60 cm (C-C I guess?) Since the bike has slight slope, I'm a little confused about this numbers validity?
I would be really glad for any input you may have.
Thanks
