Bought a 10 pc. set of the Calphalon One anondized cookware. I know the pros and cons of the set but I do have a question if anyone can answer it. My storage is limited so I have 2 options. I can either store them, stacked in the drawer or I can hang the skillets on the wall. Will stack storing them cause them to scratch? Thanks.

It might. Why take that chance, if you have the option of hanging. I think the handles would get in the way of storing pots, perhaps you are only questioning storing the skillets. I wouldn't stack skillets. Dee Dee

Depends entirely on how roughly YOU handle them. Why don't you place each piece into it's own cashmere sleeve, wrap each in tripple layers of bubble wrap, then in it's own high loft goosedown comforter, and then weld each piece into it's own copper coffin... like maybe you can rent storage space in the great pyramids. I mean like how does one cook and never scratch a pan, and why does it matter. What do you do with shoes, never take them from the shoeboxes. I bet you don't drive a car... tires touch the pavement, no friggin' way!!!

Have you considered a pot rack? That's what I did when I ran out of space. My Caphalon is 30 years old now and the finish is toast, but they still cook just fine. I don't have any Caphalon skillets though, just pots and pans.

I only stack the skillets of mine, and then I put a paper plate (one of the more sturdy brands), between the individual pans.

I like rough handling.

FABULOUS idea Sheldon. Will you send me the link to the site where you buy your pink cashmere skillet sleves? Thank you so much.

You don't and it doesn't.

I don't drive a car. Now stop being a [censored] head and fax me a snack.

Pan Ohco
For glass lids that fit on top of glass pans, I put a dish towel in between. Dee Dee
Whenever I stack pots and pans, I usually end up wanting to use one of the middle ones and have to jockey the rest of them in order to get it. Hanging on the wall will make it easier to get at.
