Well you might wonder why I would write a ride report for a commute but given that I had been off the bike for a month it seemed appropriate. (see post re: 1 hand typing and broken collarbone)
So after a month off the bike I choose a wet day to ride to work. Slow to start with just to regain confidence. No pain in shoulder, lots of caution around cars, corners, well everything really. Why is my bike so stretched out, didn't feel like that b4, think I have some back flexibility to work on. Legs feel passable given the near full abandonment of exercise for a month, heartrates up on normal.
All in all a good ride, great to be back on the bike and a convert for the benefits of pinning for collarbone breaks. (I also skiied last week - with a much less than the usual abandon!)

So you up for an FR soon then?
Ever since FR1 I've become addicted to Gunter's muffins. It's been nearly 3 weeks since the last!

First week back commuting after straining my hammys last month. Tuesday, walking between office building, killing time before the ride home, I was looking at all the cars and thinking "toys". My driving is suddenly a lot more mellow now that I am getting my bike-traffic-play fix.
