In my efforts to learn a little about Mountain biking (as I am new to
this) I have been searching the web a bit and found an interesting site
I thougt I would mention here. You guys probably have some more
educated thoughts on its worth.

It seems to ahve a good DB of trails and a logginf feature.

Spam is usually a little off topic and really trying to sell you
something. Given the relevance and lack of hard sell, I can't see how that

Look in the dictionary under "subtle". Next, Google the OP and see how
much he/she/it participates in this newsgroup. It was being sold, no
matter how you slice it.

jam is pumping. I love bikes!! I like mountain bikes, and I like BMX bikes
also. I prefer mountain bikes more because they have lots of gears. My
friend has a mountain bike but its really [censored] because his gears got broken
and his dad had to take them of and now it only has one gear, and not only
that but when you peddle you cant even stop peddling because the peddles
keep spinning around like an excercise bike my grandmother used to have. It
was like a penny farthing! But it didn't actually move. It just stayed
still. But if you took the cage of from the wheel and put a tire on it and
then put a back wheel on it would move, but it wouldn't steer. There would
probably be someway to make it steeer though. I am going to ask my
grandmother if she still has it, but i don't think she does

lame data base, the entries for my area couldn't even get close on the
correct street names for how to get to trail heads.
Sorry guys, I have not seen alot of these sort of DB's and thought this
was a pretty good one, I am sure I will learn better what is worth
while as I increase my experience and exposure to this sport and its
supporting resources, Again, sorry to have wasted your time and
bandwidth.

The best way to tell is how well it matches your local trail
information, as Penny indicated. The best source by far for any area
is a guidebook written by a local. Even what some consider the best
trail information on the 'net can suck quite badly. You have to
remember that most of those sites can have any idiot add their two
cents and most viewers can't tell whether whomever added that info
lives there and really knows what they are talking about. Also, nobody
*asked* for any trail information, hence the spammish look of your
original post.
