Need track pump advice

It'll get the road bike tyres up to 120psi without too much
trouble, and the dual-head saves faffing about. It also came
with an adaptor for blowing up footballs etc, which seems
handy (although I've never used it!).

Oddly the pressure dial on mine goes up to 160psi, but the
Wiggle description says it only reads up to 120psi. You
might want to check that.

*4 bikes in our house, plus a couple of friends use it too, so
it's had plenty of use...

Never given any trouble, well built, works well. Can't guarantee it's
the Best You'll Find, but it does seem to do what it says on the
metaphorical tin.

Likewise, and the football pump thinghy works as well..

just got a Wrench Force mini road pump for the saddle bag. Seems to
work OK.

I have a plastic barrelled Specialized Air Tool Sport. It has a head
which fits Shrader or Presta without having to do any fiddling, and it
easily pumps up to 120psi. Been in use for about eight months. Fine so
far. Would have preferred a metal barrel but I got what the LBS had at
the time.

Is there any real value in buying a manual pump rather than an
electric compressor? I have a small pump on the bike for getting
going after fixing a puncture but for regular maintenance I just use
the compressor from the car.

I have a Beto of some flavour. It was cheap, and is fine after two years.

Also, I recall numerous recommendations of the Topeak Joe Blow and the Silca Super
Pista pumps. Any track pump is likely to be better than a hand pump at any
rate.

If you want to pump up things in locations that might not have an
electrical supply handy, certainly.
