This is funny, Andy, considering the separate check thread:

If you want separate checks, PLEASE TELL YOUR SERVER IN ADVANCE

    Jill,

Their 12 eggs omelette menu item description should include "Order by
separate check only!" Why hold your friends liable for your untimely
    death?!!!

I'm sorry, but that's just silly. Unless you're splitting it, I guess.

I just had the best omelette ever! My 8-yr-old and I made a nice
four egg one with diced ham, onions, and cheddar for lunch. He did
a lot of the work (he's learning how to cut things up) -- we had a
good time and it tasted great... :-)

Where the lack of conscience comes in would be if it was ordered and
    not all eaten!

    from page 2
"Since 1954 when Beth’s first started, orders have been served with
more hashbrowns than one person can usually eat; but if you are still
    hungry, just ask for more."

I dislike it when restaurants serve excess food. Not only does it
contribute to PDD (portion distortion disorder), but if the person
sensibly doesn't finish the food, it goes to waste.

  14. I lived about 8 blocks from there as I was growing up. It is a great place
to go after the bars closed to get a big meal. I always went with at least
three other friends and we would split the meal. No problem as we were
around 19 and could eat forever.
It's still a landmark in Seattle. But 40 years later I would need 5 other
friends to do it. A lot better than [censored] Hamburgers!!!!! which is very well
    known in Seattle🙁

    I'd rename that a "VOMelette.

Some years ago I could eat 3/4 of one. Now, I usually split one of
    the 6-egg omelets there.

Beth's is one of the world's great greasy spoons. Open 24/7/365.

Odd that they don't have the price of either the 6-egg or 12-egg omelet on
    the website.

OK. I can't resist. Does the footTV channel cater to fetishists?

Oh that's an easy one. It's when you eat too many *portions* your body
gets *distortion* and some view that as a *disorder* 😉
