    I just bought a pair...size 7 1/2...I normally wear a size 7 so...For me, I
think they must run a little small. The guy at the store asked me what size
the shoes I was wearing were...He immediately grabbed the 7 1/2's when I
    said 7...

    Best, JJ

DAMMIT! We forgot to tell you, or assumed the guy at the shoe store
would tell you, to buy a full size larger for running shoes. Your feet
swell considerably during running. Well those should be ok until you
    start longer runs I guess...

That's my experience also - about 1/2 smaller than average. (for me,
    average is Adidas)

My asics (gel 1100) are a full size larger than my "normal" 6 1/2 shoe
    size.

Well, I can actually easily wear 6 1/2's...The shoes that were 7's are a
little loose on my feet. In my riding shoes (7's) I actually wear two pairs
of socks...And a sock liner (three pairs) in the winter time. So, the 7
1/2's are actually more like a full size up for me. I think they will be
more than fine for any distances I'm doing...at least for some time to come.
Thanks though! I'm learning something new every day! JJ

    Hi Dave,

Good to know. I'm glad the sales guy knew...I would have asked for 7's if
it was just me doing the picking...JJ
