  1. I'm in the kitchen making a batch of kitchen stock when <<<boom>>>. This
big assed storm hit. I'm not kidding, it was one of the worst we've had.
The wind was awful. Well, even the feral cats wanted in so that told me
something. I let them into the garage and could barely get the door closed.
Then the fence off of the dining room patio lifted out of the ground and
flew into the neighbor's yard. Enuf for me. I turned the stove off. The
lights went out and I took all 3 kids into the basement which is where I
sit. We have an emergency generator which I flipped on so I've got TV and
the computer. I just heard a big crash and thud so I'm guessing a big tree
fell. I imagine it's in the neighbor's yard. I'll find out soon enough.
The tele lines are out so if anyone needs to get in touch with me call my
    cell phone.

Shelly is terrified but Missy and Hoot are having a ball investigating
forbidden corners of the basement. Interesting... cable is still on and
it's usually the first to go.

Ob Food: It was going to be chicken and home made dumplings tonight. At
this point we may be dining out.

The heck with that, I'm kinda worried about

I've only seen the OP and this follow-up from you. No other doubles.

Better get the bifocals fixed. <G> I just checked three 'servers and
only five messages (two from Dog3, one from nancy, one from me, and
    yours) are present.

Saw that OP from Dog3 and figured OE was truncating messages again but
it was titled differently so didn't think of it as a double...

Good heavens, are you OK???? All we worry about here in Cali is a
little ground shakin', things generally don't go flying around here,
except for my neighbor two doors down when she fires up her broom :-)

    hope you're OK!

Hope everything turned out okay! Yikes I hate weather like that. Last time
that happened around here you'd have been hard pressed to find a restaurant
open for business, generators or no generators.
