I was surprised to see Bettini ride so anonymously. I guess it's still
a bit far out from World's for him to ready to fly. Nice to see Horner
show himself, and good to hear he has a contract renewal. He's been
pretty entertaining to watch this year in Europe. I was hoping to see
Cadel Evans go well at this one, so I was sorry to see him miss the
split there at the end: I guess the new spot on the calender is a bit
far off from the Tour to carry the form over.

filler, Hincapie is laying the ground work for a stunning Tour de France win

Just back and catching up on today's news. Could give you some good
race by race stuff from Mass. Special Olympics Cycling today.
95 degrees, humid as hell, and not a complaint anywhere. People riding
and racing just because they can, and love doing it. One of the cool
things is how happy, and grateful they are to have races. No [censored]
and whining, just a lot of fun and good sportsmanship.
Looks like it wasn't a great day for the US juniors in the worlds TTs.
Heard some great stories today about L'abitibi and the old junior races
in Cuba. Heard some more really good stuff about Fernando Cuevas, like
that's a surprise.
Hilltowns next weekend, and people are getting psyched for Cross
season. Really looking forward to Bob Beale too. Actaully was able to
do a three hour ride up towards the Hilltowns course last week, so I'm
thinking I might be able to get my ass kicked in a couple of races next
year. Also really waiting to see how the Tour of Germany goes.

a couple friends on Subway and they've both been very positive about
the experience.

That thing makes me hurt on the motor. It's amazing how many of our
club people volunteer to avoid it. If you're not a climber it's going
to ba a long day. Watching Van Bares do the race and finish well is
just amazing.
