I did not think that my single speed coaster brake had enough stopping power so I made my own front brake assembly; It has four brake pads,two forward of the front forks, and two aft of the front forks.The brake assembly is designed to pull up against the angular rim by a lever action,no cables involved. I have been using this home-made system for 3 years with no problems,I also hooked up a switch to the assembly to operrate a rear stop light.
The bike also has a holder for a radio, a storage box underneath the seat for a chain and lock, water bottle holder, tool kit holder ,and a holder for the automatic garage door. Cycling is soo much fun!!!🙂
