I just went to the Haribo website and perused all of their gummi
candies, and it does not appear that they make devils?

Unless it's just a halloween exclusive?

New York-based auction house, and wrote the
definitive price guide (though it needs updating
after being out-of-print for two years).

Either that, or I'm a forger of rare Gummi collectibles,

Yeah, the Haribo site was the one I visited first.

Unless the local Ralph's has old stock, it shouldn't be a Halloween
thing ... and if it were, it should've been marked? This was a plain
ol' box of "Gold Bears". I suppose something from a specialty
production line could've accidentally found it's way into the wrong box
.. . . but as you said I didn't even see it as a specialty item on their
site.

You also mentioned an EU valuation, instead of US$. Do these things
