  1. I have just signed up for the Cabrach Circuit (
    http://www.audax.uk.net/cal/calsolo.php?Ride=387 ) on 27th August.. A
gentle ride in the flatlands of Aberdeenshire. Judging by the
description, the real name should be 'tour of the speyside
distilleries'. This will be the longest single ride I have done (by
about 10k) so should be an interesting ride.

If I can work out transport and find the YH that is alledgedly near the
start (Aberdeen?), I'll join you on that one.

    It is Aberdeen.
    http://www.syha.org.uk/SYHA/web/site/Hostels/Aberdeen.asp Should be a
gentle 8-10 mile ride to the start in the morning.

I have done the bit out of Aberdeen the other way (from Netherley).
It'll be a gentle climb all the way apart from a slightly steeper bit.

Well done David. Good luck. I was planning to do the 200km, but am
taking a colleague for his first Audax and he preferred the 104km the
same day. I'll build up to 200km next year.

The pics were good, thanks (don't need high res).

Can you e-mail me a copy of the route-sheet for the 200km and I'll try
    it myself sometime.

I'll appear all ignorant now: Arrivee - what's that?

Audax UK's members' magazine. Jolly good it is too. 64 pages (I think)
    of A4 in full colour.
