I am researching control of carbon dioxide consumption in commercial pools. I have been doing several years part time study and practice on this and developed a system that works most of the time. I am curious as to how large an issue this is.

I have no experience with commercial pools, just my home pool, and never heard of a carbon dioxide issue at all. Perhaps you could enlighten us as to how CO2 is involved in pool water chemistry.
