Spoke Length

Spokes are measured from the inside of the bend/elbow to the end of the threads.

When i measured from the thread ends to inside the elbow/bend, I got 282 mm for the Front and 291 mm for the back. Do these seem right? I double checked them so I wouldn't be a mm off.

Good idea, but, unfortunately, neither his rims nor his hubs are in the SpoCalc database ;-( No Alex rims at all, and no Formula Alloy hubs.

Another way of putting what I told you earlier is that if you have a decent steel scale (that the end of which = 0mm), just stick the end of the scale in the elbow and see where the threaded end of the spoke measures at. You should be able to get a measurement down to the mm with no problem.
